July is here, and I’m back on top of it guys. I know I’ve been slacking with my blog, vlog, and getting you guys content, but I’m back and I’m better. Just to prove it to you, here’s my content schedule from here on out:

Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays: blog post

Weekly on Wednesdays: vlog post

Monthly on the 1st: Oak St Grounds Update

Annually: blog post on the #fam

I’m trying to revamp this crazy venture of a lifestyle blog while simultaneously continuing to deliver on the homesteading and crafting front with Oak Street Grounds, so cut me a break would ya?

Here’s a little bit of what I’ve been up to since we last spoke…

#luv and #adventure

Austin and I will be heading to Raleigh, NC and North Myrtle Beach for his 26th birthday at the end of the month, so look out for our adventures on Instagram!

#diy and #oakst

Oak Street Grounds will be at our 3rd Craft Fair of the year in about 2 weeks! We’ll have a booth set up with our crochet and knit goods at Gypsy Road Brewing for their Summer Market on July 13th. Come check us out!

#furballs

Jackie, Lou, KitKat, Demon, Deacon, Black Betty, and Betty White are all doing great! Wow, I just realized how much of a mouthful that would be if I had to introduce the furballs all at once in person… good thing this is a blog! I’ll be posting more in depth updates about each of my roommates soon.

The ducks, however have their own post that may or may not be your jam. I got my ducks as homestead animals, not as pets, so if you’re a member of PETA or if you don’t like the idea of raising animals for meat, keep scrolling. If you are interested in my goals of raising ducks for meat and eggs, come back on Wednesday for a full blog post on how I butchered my first duck and when I expect to see some eggs outta these freeloaders.

That’s all folks! Let me know if you want to see anything different in one of my upcoming weekly vlogs or if you have any questions I can focus on answering in a future blog post. Keep cool this summer, and I’ll write to ya later.
